Your guide to the Weekly Health Rx: what you will learn, where to find it, and how to listen anywhere.
Welcome! If you’re a woman in midlife, feeling like you’re fighting an uphill battle with perimenopause and overwhelmed by all the generic advice, you’re in the right place. We built the Weekly Health Rx for you, because you are the patient we saw over and over across more than 25 years of practice each, saying you were doing everything “right” and still not feeling better.
Generic advice doesn’t work. Ayurvedic medicine, the original personalized medicine, has known that for 5,000 years.
We’re Dr. Avanti Kumar-Singh and Dr. Tanmeet Sethi, physicians and co-creators of the Weekly Health Rx, personalized weekly prescriptions for the sleep, energy, mood, and metabolic shifts of midlife.
If you ever lose your place, come back to this post.
What we publish
Wednesdays: This is our weekly message, open to everyone.
A short read that will help you understand how each dosha experiences a common life situation, what the season is asking of your body, where Ayurveda meets a modern wellness trend, or a personal reflection from our practice. We made this to help you understand your body better. Once you know your dosha (your constitution), you can start to integrate this education into your own health practices.
Sundays: The Weekly Health Rx. Our first-of-its-kind, physician-led audio prescription.
Every Sunday we deliver a new episode focused on one health concern in perimenopause. Each episode contains specific guidance for all five doshas, so whether you’re one of the main three or a hybrid dosha, your prescription is in the episode. We run episodes in five-week series, each focused on one health symptom like sleep, brain fog, or metabolic health, so you can dive into your dosha’s science and get a personalized protocol for that topic.
Each five-week series addresses a different topic but follows the same arc, so you know what to expect:
Week 1: The Science
Week 2: The Prescription
Week 3: Modern Ayurveda
Week 4: Q&A
Week 5: Expert Collab
The Sunday episodes are for paid subscribers.
Think of it this way: Wednesdays build your awareness, and Sundays deliver your prescription. You need both to make this medicine personal.
The Weekly Health Rx is built on your constitutional blueprint. If you don’t already know your dosha, take five minutes to find out:
